Self Assessment Tax Returns Services

If you are self-employed, a landlord, a company director taking dividends or someone with untaxed income, HMRC will usually expect a Self Assessment return. We prepare it, check it and file it online for one fixed fee.

What is included

  • Review of your income, expenses and any other taxable income
  • Claims for the allowances and reliefs you are entitled to
  • Calculation of your tax bill and payments on account
  • Online filing with HMRC and a copy of the submitted return
  • Answers to your tax questions throughout the year

Key dates to remember

The online return for a tax year ending 5 April is due by 31 January the following year, and that is also when any tax owed must be paid. If you are new to Self Assessment you need to register with HMRC by 5 October after the end of the tax year. Missing the filing deadline triggers an automatic £100 penalty, even if no tax is due.

Common mistakes we fix

We regularly see people forget to claim mileage or use-of-home costs, mix personal and business spending, or overlook the £1,000 trading allowance. A careful review before filing often saves more than our fee.
